Flanges

Weld neck, slip on, blind, socket weld, threaded and lap joint flanges, with the gaskets and bolting needed to complete the joint.

Category Overview

What we supply in this category

Flange selection depends on the connection method, pressure class and facing. We source flanges against the type, size, class, facing and material stated in your specification, along with the gaskets and bolting needed to complete the joint.

Because flanges, gaskets and stud bolts are bought as a set, we are happy to quote the complete joint rather than the flange alone.

Product Types

Flanges we source

Product types below indicate the scope of this category. Availability and options are confirmed against your specification at enquiry stage.

Weld Neck Flanges

Tapered hub flanges butt welded to the pipe, used where stress distribution and higher duty matter.

Slip On Flanges

Slid over the pipe and fillet welded in place, common for general and cost sensitive service.

Blind Flanges

Solid flanges used to close off the end of a line, a vessel opening or a valve.

Socket Weld Flanges

Small bore flanges where the pipe seats into a machined socket before welding.

Threaded Flanges

Screwed connection for applications where welding is not suitable or not permitted.

Lap Joint Flanges

Used with a stub end so the flange rotates freely for bolt hole alignment.

Gaskets

Sealing elements selected to suit the flange facing, service and pressure class.

Flange Bolting

Stud bolt and nut sets matched to the flange size and class.

Specification Reference

Common reference standards

Flanges are typically specified against ASME B16.5 for sizes up to NPS 24 and ASME B16.47 for larger diameters. Pressure classes such as 150, 300 and 600 and facings described as raised face (RF), flat face (FF) or ring type joint (RTJ) are the details we most often need in order to quote accurately. Different facing types are not intermixed on a joint, so confirming the facing at enquiry stage avoids problems on site.
